Ano ang Mangyayari 'Pag Namatay Ka?

Image
O may mangyayari pa pagkatapos mong mamatay?

The Trail of Blood by J. M. Carroll

"Following the Christians Down Through the Centuries . . .  or The History of Baptist Churches From the Time of Christ, Their Founder, to the Present Day" -- That's the brief description of The Trail of Blood on its Title Page. The Trail of Blood Historical Chart (TO DOWNLOAD THE PDF OR JPG COPY, SEE BELOW.) The title page also states the book's purpose: "THIS LITTLE BOOK is sent forth for the purpose of making known the little-known history of those FAITHFUL WITNESSES of the Lord Jesus, who, as members of the CHURCH JESUS BUILT, 'Overcame Satan by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony: and they loved not their lives unto death,' Rev. 12:11." I've read this booklet and it's a good eye opener for Baptists.  Of course, like any other book, you have to have your Bible open while reading this, your eyes open for things that might be out of place, and if you get bothered by anything written in it my advice would b

Audio Bibles

Image
I was working with blind and visually impaired people when the Lord found me a decade ago, and He granted me the chance to minister to them until today. One of my initial concerns (aside from their salvation and church membership) was how blind and visually impaired people can have access to the Bible, and I searched online and wrote emails and requested for Braille and audio Bibles.  God provided through some ministries (mostly in the US) and sometimes through the Resources for the Blind, Inc. (RBI) . Following are some of the websites where you can access audio Bibles for download or online listening: (Photo from scourby.com) King James Bible audio as narrated by Alexander Scourby  - Listen online or download mp3 files or apps for iOS or Android. How to Study the Bible

Image
Sooner or later, each Bible-believing Christian must learn how to study his or her own Bible.  Definitely, each Pastor must have learned (and still learning) the various methods of studying the Bible.  After all, the Bible is our sole authority for doctrine and in our lives (at least that's how it's supposed to be). My Bible school Hermeneutics teacher used for our class the textbook "How to Study the Bible", which in Part 1 we learned: 1. Begin with Prayer. 2. Identify the Context. 3. Observe the Obvious. 4. Deal with the text Objectively. 5. Read with a Purpose. Of course, there's a lot more to it than those 5 things.  But if that's all you will learn then that's a very good start. What Happens When I Die?

Image
What Happens When I Die? We all know we're going to die eventually. But what happens after we die? Maybe at death you simply cease to exist.   Your body turns to dust and, well, that's it.   Game over. Or maybe something does happen after you die. What if life somehow continues? Maybe you're reborn as someone or something else.   Then you die.   Then you're reborn.   Then you die...   And so on, until you're finally enlightened and become one with the universe. Or perhaps you become a shadowy ghost, wandering in the underworld. Or maybe you're judged on how good you've been.   If you've done more good than bad, you win! Here's the problem:   If you're alive, there's no way to know what it's like after death.   Unless someone dies then comes back to life and tells us about it. According to His followers, that's precisely what Jesus did.   If this claim is true, then He can provide us with a clea
